The After

Hello.

This week I have been swept away. Awash in memories and final earthly farewells to my beloved surrogate mother who was on hospice for several weeks.

Some know and some did not. Please accept my apologies for cancellations again. Tomorrow will be the last cancellation, as I return this Sunday from my hometown of Boston, Ma.

I would like to share her obituary because it speaks to some of her magnificence. She was about advocacy and love in action. She was our dove.

    Dear Lizzie,
    So sorry for your loss, you have my deepest sympathies. What a remarkable lady, with so many accomplishments, and a fascinating life. Yet, she devoted her life to the underprivileged and those needing emotional support and assistance, she will be greatly missed!

      Dear Jody. she was one of the many ‘earth angels’ that are around us all. we all have them. we all are them. the power to affect one another in the most subtle or grand and glorious–and sometimes–anonymous way. watching over one another. warts and all! :o)
