Kiwanis Park Saturday 7/10/21 Yoga – Friday Night Update

Splendor found only in places like our green spaces. Last Saturday, the park had all of these elements. We had one of the most lovely and still mornings this season. The pool’s activities were non-existent and there were no echoes of cheers and bats cracking with foul balls and line-drives. It was pristine, like so many seasons in the past. To all who were able to show up, it was an extra bounty of blessings, in just greeting ‘yet another saturday’. The park revealed the birds song carried on the breeze and we could hear every note! Thank you to those of you who make your way out of bed and continue to come and create such a wonderful collective. There is an extra rich layer of gratitude that we coat ourselves with now, knowing that these opportunities may not always be here for us. We may not always be here, but when we can and for however long, we must not waste one drop.

Speaking of drops—solution of sorts. Do feast your eyes…

Quite simply, THE water bottle. That is a solid stainless steel double-walled insulated vessel about 14″ in height. So if you have a really solid water bottle, this can make a really super prop. How so?!

VOILA! Primarily, it will really help stabilize. Another adequate vessel is a container of Lysol wipes. So if you bring a water bottle routinely, you might reach for one that might be of more sturdy construction. If you don’t have one, you might invest in one. I found this a few years ago at Marshalls/TJ Maxx for about $12.00. When it is filled completely, it becomes of even more help. The top is smooth and flat which is best. The mouth/lid circumference is a nice larger size that makes gripping possible if necessary.

Hope to see you tomorrow and if you can’t make it, please don’t ever feel bad or like you owe an explanation. It’s all gravy, remember?! We don’t have to feel bad unless you like too!

Remember to check social media before you head out for any last minute cancellations. I will have my microphone just in case the park is jumping but if not, let’s just soak it all in together. Good night all 🙂
