with everyone’s summer getting off to a roaring good start, it is hard to believe that we are already into june. as i am thinking ahead to july, i want to to speak to you about a client i first met at least year’s kiwanis park yoga, melissa ann adams. this was a woman i was sure to never forget! melissa ann is a survivor of breast cancer and started her own non-profit organization as a result called “Cancer Fighting Princess”. you may have scene CFP highlighted last year on channel 4 and other various media for the work she and her husband do to help other woman valiantly fighting and work to survive this devastating disease. in honor of melissa ann and all of the the women who have battled breast cancer, a small gesture to help raise money and awareness will be to devote our saturday practice to melissa’s Cancer Fighting Princess! 100% of the donations will go to fund and support their efforts. all that i ask is that everyone really make the effort to “show up” and just knock this out of the park for bud and melissa!!!!!
if you are interested in connection with melissa ann on social media, check her out on facebook and read this article (http://www.upmc.com/media/NewsReleases/2014/Pages/upci-study-brca-drug-performs-well.aspx) on how she is directly involved with the research on this strain. we absolutely salute and bow to you melissa ann!
thank you all! let’s make it a record turnout for kiwanis!!!!
